Volunteering fuels so much across the city of Bristol, and the wealth of knowledge amongst volunteer coordinators and organisations is huge.  Volunteer Bristol helps bring this together by facilitating a quarterly networking meeting where many topics are discussed such as DBS eligibility, volunteer recruitment, and effect of local policy making.  Information about the next Volunteer Organisers’ Forum can be found here.

Resources on all aspects of voluntary and community sector work can be found on Voscur’s Support Hub, including factsheets and guides on volunteer management handpicked by the Volunteer Bristol team.

As part of Voscur, training for volunteer managers is also on offer throughout the year on a range of topics such as ‘Volunteers and the Law’, ‘Volunteer Retention’ and ‘Back to Basics Volunteer Management’.  Voscur’s training programme can be found here.
